the moon hangs

Sweet potato pie.

I guess I've gotten accustomed to sleeping late and waking up at noon. Not a healthy habit. So I just got all my grades for this semester.

How am I trying to be a science major when I suck at science? I failed them =/

Ok ok...so I don't really know what I want to do with my life, but I think I need to try harder. I need to put the future ahead of the present sometimes, no matter how good the present is.

Gosh. Gee golly.

What else? Uhm. Did I ever do my Top 10 of 2007? Don't think so. I realize it when I fill out forms and put a "2008." Weird.

TOP 10 WHICH MAKES 2007 BETTER THAN 2006:

10. I passed Spring semester 2007! Yes! I pulled myself out of probation.
9. Getting more in touch with Kappa. After last winter conference in the coldest sun in LA approximately a year ago...and now it's part of my life again.
8. My sister got her license! hahaha...which means I stopped using the excuse "I have to pick up my sister"
7. Fitting in better at work. I think it just came easier as i realized that it was all a joke. Hah.
6. Roadtrip of the century. A roundtrip to and from San Diego: skipping school, hitting up a party, not eating meat, naptime parking lot, making it in time for a lunch, going with dcruz to work.
5. Hiatus of party Vanessa. I guess I grew up.
4. Christmas baby 2007! The first niece! She will be spoiled by me
3. My cousins are freaking growing up. I feel like I just realized it. THEY'RE GETTING OLD. AND SO AM I.
2. Summertime and the living is easy. Adventuresome.
1. The trips that made it worth it. New territories. Cheers to that.

There!

Gotta tell you about my outtings in 2008.

Went out with my cousins and sis and did some good eating. Had Superstar yummmmm! Then we all painted together and bonded over Veronica Mars (the best).

Adventures of Eck and Reese! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee're backkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Holler. Sitting at bars and enjoying colorful refreshments. Tipsy-ness.

Randomness at Best Buy. Bar hopping with Ian and Lisa. We shut down establishments, baby. Yee.

Hopefully a better Vanessa. Hopefully a good year ahead for you and me.
