I tried something new today. See, I'm a pretty superstitious person. Pretty superstitious...not by choice, but by fear that if I don't do something right, then I'll be cursed with another bad day. So. Today, since every morning I tend to climb out of the good side of the bed, today I was too lazy to climb all the way over there so I just climbed out of the bad side. Thus, risking my "good day." So far...not lookin too shabby. Probably just a home day though.
I blasted some house music when I picked my sister up and she hella ducked. HAHAHAHAHA. What the hell. And then I put it on 94.5 and it was "Love lifts us up where we belong..." ahahahahah, and she just kept ducking and calling me a bitch. hahahaha. Well...I thought it was funny.
Then we came home and my mom was like "I almost burnt the adobo." And we were like "Again?" Because one time she did that at the old house and it almost burnt down, if it wasn't for this strange kid who called the cops when he saw our house smoking. My mom refers to him as "the guardian angel." I'm skeptical, but I always am anyways. So we sat and ate, but it tasted damn good and we all agreed that we liked the adobo better when it was near burnt than when it was raw and chewy. GOOD ONE.
So I was running up the stairs when my mom was like...VANESS!!! And so I helped her peel the eggplants, for which I am going to cook tomorrow--torta. My favorite. She's trying to teach me how to cook so we don't eat out as much, which is good but I think I'm going to eat out nonetheless. That's just how we do.
But. Now I have to fold everyone's clothes. And! Clean the bathroom. Then...go to the bank and deposit my check. AND. that's it. I guess....MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! YOU WISH YOU KNEW WHAT THE EVIL LAUGH WAS FOR!!! YOU WISH!!! muahahahahaha.
and...
happy birthday, noemi teppang, the noemster, the eckster. kOtex.
good times keep goin...love.
