In the wake of saturday

I'm proud to say that today I woke up before noon. Well, we started off the day with my friend, Lycky, giving me a very educational knife presentation. There are so many things I didn't know about kitchen utensils. And I didn't think it mattered, or anything did, but apparently, its all in the way the knife cuts through leather. You know what I mean? Anyway, after she left, I took a little nap until my parents came home and brought lunch. It was weird, I woke up and my parents were gone. They always do that...I'm such an orphan.

So after lunch, I took some time to look in the SFSU Bulletin, a course guide. So far the appealing majors are psychology and sociology. And if I could, I'd minor in Italian and then study abroad there. Heh. Let's see if that pans out. Nothing ever really does.

My cousins came, and I watched Dummy again because its a good movie. Once it was over, I took my little four-year-old cousin to the park because I could tell he was getting really bored hanging around teenagers. That kid has more energy than ten kids his age. He's crazy. He was running around the park for more than an hour, and at one point we were playing frisbee. He called "water break" and said things like "Is that all you got?" Hahaha. It was pretty fun. More fun than staying home and doing yard work. It took forever to persuade him to leave with us, so I told him we'd play frisbee at my house and go and buy chips. So we went to Walgreens and he spotted the toys. Now, I know how kids are, I understand that having one entails much patience. But we were in there for a long time while he was debating what toy he wanted. Finally, after a lot of threats of not buying him anything, he bought candy and two squirt guns. More fun.

While we were sitting and watching that Lil Romeo show, because that kid watches Nickelodeon like a madman, I got a call from my prima. She came over to pick up her Goodbye Mix, but stayed for a while to hang. So we went out in the back and smoked a box of cigarettes and downed a couple shots. She's hardcore. That rebel. >But then in reality, we just chatted about the usual things.

When she left, I sat on the couch with my cousins and ate Bagel Bites. Fun stuff.

That places me here and now. Say Anything is on and that makes me a happy camper. Saturday was a pretty good day. Happy Fourth everyone.
