Take my hand and never let me go

Listening to the Deftones right now and I think I should go buy one of their albums. And you should too. Because they rock ROCK rock. Man, I'm bored. Nothing to do. I was going to go shopping, but my mama ain't home which means no money. Essentially, no shopping. See how that works. My sister went to Great America with my cousins. So I'm here, sitting. Drinking. Coke. I mean drinking coke. Not drinking and doing coke. AHhhh, so bored.

I was thinking in my big empty house that I have been so very lazy with everything ever since the school year began. So the parents have lost hope in me. Because I sleep all day and stay up late, barely get up for class, and now I've got this damn truancy letter...not to mention all those college complications. Their faith in me has degraded just a tad. And so there's that Honor Night invitation that came in, but it was overshadowed by my truancy letter, at least for my dad. But my mom is excited, and dad should be. So here is a letter that shows them that I used to care. And I used to be worthy of having pride in. But now...I have a feeling that in college I'll just sleep all day, stay up, barely get up for class, and then party on weekends when I don't come home. And if I get an apartment...wooh..there's no stopping my bad habits.

So, on June 9th, we're all going to be walking across a stage with gowns and weird traditional headwear, only to get a piece of paper that is not actually a diploma. Can someone explain to me how that makes people's eyes drip? Wait, no, I know. Because it means the last time you get to see some people. Let's be real, I'll probably only see about 10 people out of the hundreds graduating, so that's pretty sad. That's kind of worthy of drippy eyes. And that sounds kind of gross.

Oh yeah, about today...went to Overfelt park to help David with stuff. Ended up helping more than I intended, but anyway, it was fun to get out of the house, well kind of. Maybe for a while, then it got really boring and prison-like. Oh, then the singers came along and can you spell DIVAS. Geez. Get a fuckin' grip, no one even knows your names. So I went home and do you know what I ate for lunch? Wendy's....oh man. I so don't need fast food this week. But I'm a fuckin' sucker for bacon.

I write too much sometimes.
