I've been listening to Ben Kweller lately. Call me a dork and a geek, but I already beat you to it. I'm a geek and a dork.
Tomorrow be Thanksgiving, yo. So let me make my list of things to be thankful for. Because our family doesn't do that go-around-the-table-thing-and-say-what-you're-thankful-for.
I am thankful for:
--Being a senior in high school.
--Being a senior in high school.
--My friends and family.
--Making it through another Autumn. And Spring. And Summer. Now Winter.
--Having the privilege to sit back and relax as I write notes to myself and stick them in my wallet.
--The talent of duct tape wallet-making.
--I am thankful mostly for being able to spend this Thanksgiving with people I've always spent them with. Again. I am thankful for all the new lives that have recently come into the world and that they may experience this same love that I know now. I am thankful for the lives that have now gone on, and I am thankful for the people who are still here, and that we are fortunate for that fact.
Happy Thanksgiving 2003 everyone.
