This is the part where I give in,/ because I don't want to miss a thing,/ the weight of the world holds me down once again,/ but it's fine because it's all I've ever known in this life

gotta love 'em.
So I haven't updated in a while...so here...
Saturday: I had a horrible time getting ready for prom, so my hair wasn't that great since I didn't have time to get it done. And then....egad....I swear, it just wasn't going right. And then at 2 o'clock, he picked me up to go take studio pictures. And we had to wait TWO hours because of some people's punctuality problems. And the taking pictures itself took a good hour. After that, Huan and I went to our houses to get a little more prepared before going to the Fairmont. Once at the Fairmont, it took quite a while to get served...but anyway, I inhaled my steak and potatoes. =) And then we took more pictures. And then we did a lot of dancing. And then we left at midnight to try to catch X2 at Mercado, since we both really wanted to see it but then guess what....guess!....we got pulled over. Not once, but TWICE. Yeah, I'm not fucking. First time it was because of the headlights...I don't know, but the cop let us go because he said that Independence was his alma mater. So yeah. Second time went light this.
Dumb-idiot-cop: License, registration, and proof of insurance.
Huan: What's the problem, officer? Is there a problem?
DIC: I wouldn't have pulled you over if there wasn't.
(I fumble through my glove compartment and pull out this folded piece of paper that looks like it must be registration, so I hand it to Huan to hand it to the officer.)
DIC: Best Buy. Is Best Buy the new DMV?
(I look dumbly at the piece of paper and laugh at myself, then I fumble more through my glove compartment.)
DIC: The reason I pulled you over is because you didn't stop completely on that red light when you making your right turn. Who's car is this?
Me: Mine.
DIC: Who's it registered to?
Me: My parents.
(DIC leaves with Huan's license. I find the registration when he leaves. While the DIC is doing whatever the hell he is doing, Huan and I are in the car wondering what the hell he is doing and talking about it. I can't help but think how weird that night turned out to be.)
DIC: (hands Huan his license and writes him up a ticket or something) You will have to report to juvenile traffic court. (to me) You should always carry proof of insurance.
Huan: You can't let us go with a warning, officer?
DIC: I don't give warnings. The fact that you have a license means you know the rules of the road.
(And then blah blah blah more arguing and stuff, but the point is that we didn't feel like catching a movie anymore so we called it a night at 1 o'clock)
I went home and took a shower and stayed online until my hair dried.
Sunday: Lunch and dinner at my aunt's house. In between, I took a fat nap. Then yeah, at night my sister and I rented movies. She got Teen Witch and Can't Buy Me Love, and I got Clerks.
Monday: So far I went out with my mom and sister to run errands. My dad went to Stockton to visit family, I guess.
I don't know. I just don't feel like doing school tomorrow. I have a review for the final in chemistry and the marathon starts in calculus. Who knows what else in the other classes? I just don't want to do this. Dude.
